A Grim Day for Science

Intelligent Design wins in Kansas. Big suprise, huh? Smack dab in the middle of Jesusland.
In addition, the board rewrote the definition of science, so that it is no longer limited to the search for natural explanations of phenomena.
What?! You can't do that! Pathetic. Look at what this country is coming to.

Ah well. We're still waiting for a decision on the ID trial. Hopefully we'll have better luck on that one.

P.S. GOD or NOT #2 is up at Eternal Revolution.

The country was founded my Christians with a population of 76.5% Christians, why should we ban everything to do with religion from anywhere public? (the next largest group is Nonreligious/Secular with 13.2%)

Actually, I really don't mind religion in public places too much. But still, might it bother you (even a little bit) if you walked around downtown and saw all kinds of Muslim symbols everywhere?

it wouldn't bother me at all if I saw muslim symbols all around me, i would learn to accept it, especially in a place where the majority of people are Christians

Yeah, it would bother me that there are so many Muslim symbols because only 0.5% of Americans are muslim.

But it wouldn't if 76.5% were?
